Returns and warranty

Order returns and exchanges

  • The Customer has the right to withdraw from the order within 14 days without giving a reason and to exchange or return the ordered Product(s). The said 14-day period starts from the moment the Customer receives the Order.
  • To return/exchange products, a withdrawal form must be submitted to the Seller within 14 days of receiving the goods. The withdrawal form can be submitted by sending a free-form, unambiguous e-mail to info@storehouse.ee When returning the goods, please also fill out the return form, which you will find HERE.
  • The consumer must return the goods within 14 days of submitting the application or provide proof that he has handed over the goods to the logistics company within the aforementioned period. The trader has the right to refuse to make refunds until he has received the goods that are the subject of the contract or until the consumer has provided evidence that he has returned the goods, whichever is earlier.
  • The Product to be exchanged or returned must not be damaged or show signs of use. The Product must be in its original packaging and the Product must have all original stickers, labels and other accessories that came with the goods (including fasteners and tools). In the event of deterioration of the condition of the returned item, the Customer is liable for the decrease in value due to use only if he has used the item in a way other than that necessary to verify the nature, properties and functioning of the item. In order to verify the nature, properties and functioning of the item, the Customer should handle and use the item only in the way that he would normally be allowed to do so in a store.
  • The Customer is obliged to always open the Product packaging carefully, without damaging it. If the packaging cannot be opened without damaging it, the return of the Product in the original packaging is not required.
  • The Customer can return the Order to the Seller's warehouse, where the Customer Service Representative will carry out the exchange or return process for the Product(s). The Customer will cover the shipping costs for the returned Product.
  • In the event of an exchange, the E-store will send the Customer a new Product immediately after receiving the Product to be exchanged. The Customer will bear the costs associated with the exchange. 
  • The Seller will refund the purchase amount to the Customer within 14 days of receiving the return application. The refund will be made to the same bank account from which the Customer paid for the returned order.
  • In the event of a return of an order, the Seller shall refund to the Customer the entire amount received under the contract, including the first delivery cost of the order paid by the Customer. If the delivery is unsuccessful the first time due to circumstances on the Customer's part, the Seller shall only cover the first delivery cost upon return. 
  • The refund will be credited to the Client's bank account no later than the next banking day. In the case of payment by credit card, according to the terms and conditions of the Client's bank.

Procedure for submitting claims

  • The 2-year period for submitting claims set out in Section 218(2) of the Consumer Protection Act applies to sold Products. 
  • If the product does not meet the requirements or has any defects, the Customer undertakes to notify the Seller immediately, but no later than 2 months after the defect has appeared, by sending the Buyer's contact details, a precise description of the problem and the purchase receipt number to the e-mail address info@storehouse.ee If a product defect is discovered, we ask that you immediately stop using the product.
  • All claims will be reviewed and the Client will be contacted as soon as possible, but no later than within 15 days of receipt of the claim.
  • During the first year after the transfer of the item to the Customer, it is assumed that the defect already existed at the time of the transfer of the item. It is the entrepreneur's obligation to rebut this assumption. In the event of a claim, the costs related to the repair or replacement of the item, in particular the costs of transport, postage, labour, travel and materials, are always borne by the seller (Section 222(4) of the Estonian Consumer Protection Act). During the following 1 year, the seller will bear the corresponding costs only if the claim was justified.
  • The Consumer has the right to demand from the Seller a reduction in the purchase price of the Product or termination of the contract and a refund for the goods if the Seller is unable to repair or replace the product, the repair or replacement of the product fails, the Seller has not eliminated the defect in the goods within a reasonable time, or the Consumer has been caused unjustified inconvenience.
  • In the event of non-compliance of the goods with the terms of the contract, the consumer can rely on the legal remedies provided for by law, including demanding performance of the contract, reducing the price, demanding compensation for damages, and canceling the contract. 
  • In the event of non-compliance of the Product with the terms and conditions of the contract, the costs related to the repair of the Product or the replacement of the Product, in particular the costs of transportation, postage, labor, travel and materials, shall be borne by the Seller. 
  • The Seller is not liable for damages resulting from the improper use of the ordered products, as well as for delays in delivery if this is due to circumstances beyond the Seller's control and/or due to circumstances beyond its control.
  • The Seller will not compensate the Customer for expenses incurred in the event of non-compliance or defects of the product and is not liable for them if: the value of the product has decreased/the product has been damaged due to the Customer's fault, the defects have arisen as a result of using the product for purposes other than its intended purpose, including failure to follow the maintenance instructions, the value of the product has decreased due to natural wear and tear during normal use, there is no document proving the purchase.

Responsibility

  • The Seller and the Customer are liable to each other for any damage caused to the other party by a violation of these Terms of Use in the cases and to the extent provided for in the legislation in force in the Republic of Estonia.
  • The Seller is liable for the amount of the selling price of the Product.
  • The customer undertakes to use the E-shop service only for purposes that are in accordance with the law and good practices.
